27. Heute sind wir alle Juden.
The picture I'm using today is not by me, it's from FONDAZIONE CDEC - Milano, from their exhibition Fotografia e Memoria (Photography and Memory)
A Venezia, presso la Ikona Gallery in Campo del Ghetto Nuovo,
mostra Fotografia e Memoria.
Con le immagini dell'archivio della Fondazione CDEC, della Biblioteca Renato Maestro di Venezia, e del fotografo Michele Levis, la mostra, curata da Živa Kraus, direttrice di Ikona Photo Gallery, ripercorre e "riscopre" le tracce della vita degli ebrei d'Italia e di Venezia fra Otto e Novecento.
La mostra è realizzata dalla Fondazione CDEC in collaborazione con la Comunità ebraica di Venezia, Biblioteca "Renato Maestro" di Venezia e Centro Veneziano di Studi ebraici Internazionali, sotto l'alto patrocinio della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri - Comitato di coordinamento per le celebrazioni in ricordo della Shoah.

As I was already suspecting when I started writing this blog, I've been so busy lately that I haven't had enough time to publish my pictures day by day.
This is why I'm about to spend the last half of my relaxing Sunday afternoon
publishing them all together!

1. Does a pic a day really keep the doctor away?
A pic a day for the next 365 days.
I'd like to try.
The most difficult part won't be taking a picture everyday
as much as publishing it here after taking it,
so maybe I'll publish the pics in small groups when I don't have time to come here everyday.
My goal is telling something about the year has just started with pictures and the smallest amount of words as possible.
If the best way to improve someone's abilities it to practice them regularly (in fact since last October I'm trying to begin writing constantly - even if this has nothing to do with this blog), this year I'm also going to take pictures more often, because photography is not only my second job, but also a passion which deserves all my attention.
And now, a toast to start!
